The Cooperative
Every member helps build Liana Banyan and earns Marks and Credits for it. Here is the whole case for joining in: the plan, the hiring program, the research bounties, the fable, and the Cue Deck.
This is Step One of How to Save the World in Six Easy Steps. It costs the AI companies less than they pay today: the fee comes out of what the Substrate saves them, and it funds the sixteen Liana Banyan initiatives and a public sovereign fund. Help Them Help Us Help Ourselves. Read the plan →

Read more: how the cooperative pays for the work
We need so much work done that no company could hire for it: software, management, nodes in every city, businesses that build Liana Banyan into what it can be. So the cooperative hires member businesses to do the work, at Cost+20%, and members earn Marks and Credits for what they build. Start a node. Start a business from a free Cold-Start plan. Or start tonight by making dinner: write down the recipe, put it in the Kitchen Table, and let ten neighbors pre-order Thursday. Make it a weekly pre-ordered subscription, so everyone can plan for it. That is the whole economy, in one neighborhood, on one Thursday.

- $99.30 against $4,433.46: 300 questions asked 100 times each, our minting cost included.

By Grabthar’s Hammer: WHAT a SAVINGS.
All three reproduced exactly: faster = 1 - (4.38ms / 35,710ms) = 99.99% (an 8,153x speedup); cheaper = 1 - ($99.30 / $4,433.46) = 97.76%, rounds to 97.8%; accurate = 300/300 = 100% for cards vs 280/300 = 93.3% for Anthropic on the same 300 questions.

What the cooperative is: members helping members, becoming each other’s customers and providers through pre-orders at volume-discount production levels. $5 a year gets all the collective might of Liana Banyan, so you can try as many times as it takes, for almost nothing.

EARN RESEARCH MARKS

You Have a Play, I Have a Stage
You have a play. We have a stage. You haven’t rehearsed yet? That’s fine. Start rehearsing today. One line at a time.
You Have a Play, I Have a Stage
You have a play. We have a stage. Bring the thing you want to do. The cooperative provides the infrastructure to execute it — Patrons, Ripples, Vouchers, Cold Start systems, the commerce engine, the letters of recommendation, the published guides, the full platform. We, collectively, are providing the stage. Show us what you got. At all levels.

Doing Something Is What It Takes to Start
You haven’t started yet. That’s the only thing standing between you and Level 1. Do something. The next step reveals itself once you move.
Doing Something is What It Takes to Start
The hardest transition in the cooperative ladder is zero to one. The principle is: do something, because doing something makes the next step visible, while doing nothing keeps the next step hidden. Get a DBA. Make a phone call. Take the first dollar. List the first service.

YOU CAN DO BETTER.
and we gladly step aside for the experts to make it well. Take what we ship and make a better version: more capable, or polished. Variations of MnemosyneC that accomplish more are welcome. To fork the code and apply it better, reserve your place in line to be considered ($250): submissions are tested by paid testers, and the line decides who goes first.
