Inputs
- rise (number, length units, required) min 0 : Vertical change.
- run (number, length units, required) min 0 : Horizontal change.
Outputs
- grade_percent (%): Slope expressed as percent grade.
- angle_degrees (degrees): Slope expressed as an angle from horizontal.
Steps
- Percent grade = (rise / run) * 100.
- Angle in degrees = atan(rise / run) converted from radians to degrees.
- Round both to 2 decimals.
Constants
None.

Worked example and test vectors
| Name | Inputs | Answer |
| worked example | {"rise":1,"run":4} | grade 25.00%, angle 14.04 degrees |
| test vector: 45-degree slope | {"rise":3,"run":3} | grade 100.00%, angle 45.00 degrees |
