Inputs
weight_kg (number, kg, required) min 0 : Body weight in kilograms
dose_per_kg (number, as given by dose_per_kg_unit, required) min 0 : Dose amount per kilogram of body weight
dose_per_kg_unit (string, required) min 1 : Unit of dose_per_kg, for example mg/kg or mcg/kg
max_dose (number, same unit as the computed dose, optional) min 0 : Optional maximum total dose cap
Outputs
total_dose (same base unit as dose_per_kg_unit): Computed total dose, capped at max_dose if provided and exceeded
Steps
raw_dose = weight_kg * dose_per_kg.
If max_dose is provided and raw_dose exceeds it, total_dose = max_dose; otherwise total_dose = raw_dose.
Round the result to 2 decimal places.
