What this is

This is the standing, open call this cooperative runs beside every named Bounty Poster on the wall. It has no single deliverable and no acceptance test of its own: it is the door, not a job. APPLY if you see a role, an initiative, or a piece of work here you want to be in charge of. REFER someone if you know a good fit. First come, first served.

Why it exists now

The platform works, and it needs more hands, on every level, not only in one named role. Marks today, Salaries later, is the trajectory, not a promise of a date: his own words are “I can’t predict timing.”

How to apply or refer

Applying means naming the thing you want to be in charge of (an initiative, a role on a named Bounty Poster, or something not yet on a poster at all) and showing that you understand what you are asking to lead. Referring means naming who, and why, in writing.

What this pays

Nothing by itself. This is a door, not a contract. Whatever role or initiative a person applies for and is accepted into pays under that role’s own terms: a Bounty Poster contract (contracts only, finished product, in time frame, to spec) if it is one. No Marks, Credits, or cash are paid for the act of applying or referring alone.

The You Can Do Better button

Every Bounty Poster on this wall, this one included, carries a small “You Can Do Better” button. Hovering it explains that the cooperative needs good designs, and it links to Make A Name For Yourself and Design Contests. The award path is placing in the top three of a Design Contest, not necessarily winning it; new contests open on every element every three days.

Honest caveats

  • “First come, first served” is not defined further here: what happens if two people apply for the same thing at the same moment is an open question.
  • This poster does not itself create any new role, wage, or Marks ladder. It is the front door to roles and initiatives that carry their own terms.
